Griddle 80 XL/80 XXL

The Griddle Plate 80 XL/80 XXL is a special accessory designed for use in Pira charcoal ovens, made from thick stainless steel with a fully welded and polished finish. Its thick construction and crossbeams on the underside provide exceptional durability and resistance, unmatched by other charcoal ovens.

The special slope directs oils to the general collector and internal fat collector, reducing odors and smoke when cooking fatty products like bacon, duck magret, and sausages. It’s also perfect for cooking delicate items like scrambled eggs, fish, and vegetables—foods traditionally cooked on a griddle but now possible in a charcoal oven.

The plate’s lateral arms allow it to be placed in an inclined position for greasy foods or horizontal for non-greasy items to prevent slipping. The independent movement system enables the oven to be recharged without removing the plate during service.
