The Griddle Plate is a specially designed accessory for use in Pira charcoal ovens, offering exceptional functionality for grilling greasy or delicate foods. Made from thick, fully welded stainless steel, the plate features an attractive design, providing unmatched durability and resistance.

The special slope of the plate directs oils to the general collector, which then channels them into the internal fat collector of the Pira ovens. This innovative design helps reduce odors and excessive smoke, especially when cooking fatty products like bacon, duck magret, or sausages.

Versatile in use, the Griddle Plate is perfect for delicate or larger products, such as scrambled eggs, fish, and vegetables, which are often not considered for cooking in a charcoal oven. Its lateral arms allow the plate to be placed at an inclined position for greasy products, while a horizontal position is ideal for non-greasy or smaller items to prevent slipping.

The independent movement system of the plate enables the charcoal oven to be recharged during service without removing the plate, maintaining efficiency in busy kitchens. The cornerless design ensures no food residues accumulate, meeting the highest food safety standards and making cleaning fast and easy.
